Paramalo is located a bit away from the sea, yet has become one of Athens’ most authentic places for fish and seafood.
Every day we handpick fresh fish and seafood, clean and prepare everything ourselves and grill it simply over charcoal – without unnecessary sauces and garnish. The menu is not a printed list, but a counter: you walk over, see what is fresh that day and choose what will be on the table.
The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, with generous food, a relaxed pace and service that makes you feel at home – whether you come for a quick ouzo with small plates or a big family meal late at night in Kifisia.

We recommend calling +30 21 0620 5927 to reserve a table, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays, as the taverna often fills up.
Do you have a fixed menu?
Paramalo operates as a classic fish taverna: you choose the day’s fresh fish and seafood from the counter, and together we go through preparation and price on the spot.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Tuesday to Saturday 13:00–00:00 and Sunday 13:00–18:00. We are closed on Mondays.
Is Paramalo suitable for larger groups?
Yes, we regularly host large parties and family tables. Call us to clarify capacity and table arrangements for your group.
Are there options for those who do not eat fish?
Our focus is fish and seafood, but we also have classic meze, salads and side dishes. Ask us on site and we will show which options suit you.
